According to the relevant regulations on the approval process for environmental impact assessment of construction projects, our bureau intends to review the environmental impact assessment documents of the gold jewelry industry production and construction project (major changes) of Huizhou Zhongkai Jewelry Industry Investment Co., Ltd. In order to reflect the principle of openness and fairness, and strengthen public participation, the basic information of the environmental impact assessment documents of the project is now publicly announced. The public notice period is 5 working days. If you have any opinions, please write or call our bureau during the public notice period to reflect. Contact address: Building 7, Citizen Service Center, No. 31 Sanxin North Road, Jiangbei, Huizhou City, postal code 516001 Contact phone number: 2167941 Hearing notice: According to the Administrative Licensing Law of the People's Republic of China, within five working days from the date of public announcement, applicants and interested parties may apply for a hearing on the proposed environmental impact assessment document approval decision for the construction project. Project Name: Huizhou Zhongkai Jewelry Industry Investment Co., Ltd. Gold Jewelry Industry Production and Construction Project (Major Changes) Construction Unit: Huizhou Zhongkai Jewelry Industry Investment Co., Ltd. Construction Location: No. 131 Weidun Group, Weibu Village, Qiuchang Street, Huiyang District, Huizhou City Environmental Impact Assessment Agency: Guangzhou Jiangrui Ecological Environment Technology Co., Ltd. Project Overview: The project is mainly engaged in the processing of jewelry and handicrafts, with supporting electroplating engineering (including 37 manual electroplating lines, 10 manual electroplating lines, 1 automatic rolling galvanizing line, a total of 48 electroplating lines) and 1 electroplating engineering electroplating production line. The main products are 90 million pieces/year of jewelry and handicrafts, mainly divided into rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and jewelry. And other handicrafts, etc; Among them, there are 100000 electroplated gold ornaments per year; Plating types include gold plating, silver plating, copper plating, palladium plating, platinum plating, rhodium plating, zinc plating, nickel plating, etc. Main environmental impacts and measures to prevent or mitigate adverse environmental impacts: 1. Wastewater: The production wastewater of the project is classified and collected, treated by a self built wastewater treatment system, and reused for production without being discharged externally; The concentrated water in the wastewater treatment system is evaporated and concentrated by MVR, and the concentrated solution is handed over to qualified units for disposal, achieving basic "zero discharge" of wastewater. The concentrated water and domestic sewage generated by the tap water to pure water system are connected to the municipal sewage pipe network and treated at the Second Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant in Huiyang City. 2. Waste gas: The main sources of waste gas pollution in the project include acidic and alkaline waste gas (sulfuric acid mist, hydrogen chloride, nitrogen oxides, ammonia), cyanide containing waste gas, organic waste gas (non methane total hydrocarbons), particulate matter, and odorous gases from sewage treatment plants (ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, odor concentration), which are effectively collected and treated to meet standards before being discharged at high altitudes. 3. Noise: The main sources of noise in the project are machining equipment, air compressors, pumps, ultrasonic waves, ventilation fans, supply fans, cooling towers, etc. To effectively reduce the impact of noise on the environment, the factory plans to take the following measures: try to use low-noise equipment as much as possible; Install mufflers at the inlet and outlet of the fan; Add anti vibration pads to high noise equipment in the workshop; Install sound insulation materials (or perform sound absorption treatment) on workshop doors and windows. According to the noise prediction results, the contribution values of each boundary noise during the operation period of this project and the predicted values after adding background values can meet the Class 2 standard in the "Industrial Enterprise Environmental Noise Emission Standard" (GB12348-2008). 3
