Project Name: Xunliao Tieyong Highway New Construction Project in Huidong County Construction Unit: Huidong County Transportation Bureau Construction Location: Renping Peninsula, Huidong County, Huizhou City Environmental Impact Assessment Agency: Guangzhou Yuetao Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. Project Overview: The project is located on Renping Peninsula, Huidong County, Huizhou City, spanning Xunliao and Tieyong towns horizontally, starting from S387 (County Road X210) Xunliao Bridge (coordinates: 114.75870967 ° E, 22.69388292 ° N), running eastward along the Xunliao River, passing under the planned roundabout expressway, and intersecting with Xunliao Interchange of the roundabout expressway, passing through Fuyuntan, Longxin, and Laoye'ao. Crossing through tunnels, Dakeng, Xinping and other places, the route finally reaches S259 (formerly X213, coordinates: 114.84489441 ° E, 22.71112326 ° N) near Huangkeng Xinmin in Tieyong Town, with a total length of 10.39km. The standard construction of first-class highway is adopted, and the design speed is 60km/h. The main construction contents include temporary works (construction camp, construction construction area, water stable mixing station, spoil ground, construction access road), subgrade and pavement works, bridge and culvert works, intersection works, traffic works, tunnel works, greening and environmental protection works, etc. Main environmental impacts and measures to prevent or mitigate adverse environmental impacts: 1. Ecological impacts: (1) During the construction period, the roadbed construction section of the project should be well protected and drained, and efforts should be made to avoid construction in areas prone to soil erosion during the rainy season. If protection cannot be carried out immediately after excavation is completed, soil and water conservation measures such as covering the excavation surface should be taken to prevent soil erosion. After the completion of the project, it is necessary to carry out ecological environment restoration work as soon as possible, especially in temporarily occupied areas, and restore the original habitat as soon as possible. During the construction process of the project, control the construction scope, prohibit entry into the protection area of ancient and famous trees, strictly control the excavation surface of the project, strengthen construction management, set up warning signs and fences, and prohibit the setting up of temporary facilities such as large temporary facilities, soil disposal sites, and construction access roads in the area where ancient and famous trees are located. The report analysis suggests that the project construction will not cause a decrease in the plant diversity of the ecological public welfare forest involved. (2) The construction of the project during the operation period will permanently occupy part of the land, causing a certain degree of damage to the original vegetation. However, the supporting greening engineering is conducive to improving the ecological environment along the line, and ecological restoration can effectively prevent and control soil erosion. 2. Atmospheric environmental impact (1) During the construction period, the main pollutants are dust, exhaust gas from operating machinery, and
