Huidong County Livestock and Poultry Slaughtering Cold Chain Logistics Center Project Construction Unit: Huizhou Tongxin Fresh Food Distribution Co., Ltd. Construction Location: Qingyun Community Private Industrial Park, Pingshan Street, Huidong County Environmental Impact Assessment Agency: Huizhou Zhiyan Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Project Overview: The project mainly engages in the slaughtering and processing of poultry (chickens, ducks, geese), cattle and sheep, cold chain warehousing and distribution. It is planned to set up one chicken slaughtering line and three comprehensive slaughtering lines (slaughtering chickens, ducks and geese) in the poultry slaughtering plant, and set up one cow and one sheep slaughtering line in each of the cattle and sheep slaughtering plants. After reaching production capacity, 21.5 million chickens, 1.5 million ducks, 1 million geese, and 1 million cattle will be slaughtered annually. 36000 heads and 360000 sheep. The project has a staffing of 500 people and an annual production of 365 days (360 days for the cattle and sheep slaughterhouse). It operates on a 2-shift system, with each shift working for 8 hours and an annual work of 5840 hours (5760 hours for the cattle and sheep slaughterhouse). Main environmental impacts and measures to prevent or mitigate adverse environmental impacts: 1. Wastewater from poultry cage cleaning, ground washing, livestock and poultry slaughter, vehicle cleaning, soft water preparation, backwashing of soft water devices, biological deodorization facilities, and initial rainwater are treated to meet standards at self built sewage treatment stations, and partially reused after deep treatment by a reclaimed water reuse system; Part of it is discharged into the Pingshan Sewage Treatment Plant in Huidong County through the municipal sewage pipeline network for advanced treatment. The domestic sewage of the project is pre treated in a three-stage septic tank and discharged into the Pingshan Sewage Treatment Plant in Huidong County for treatment. 2. The production waste gas of the waste gas project mainly comes from the poultry slaughtering workshop, cattle and sheep waiting room and slaughtering workshop, manure temporary storage room, and the self built sewage treatment plant in the factory. The waste gas from the cattle and sheep waiting room is discharged unorganized after regular spraying of deodorizers. The waste gas from the poultry slaughtering workshop, cattle and sheep slaughtering workshop, and manure temporary storage room is collected under closed negative pressure, and the production waste gas from the self built sewage treatment plant in the factory is collected under closed conditions. After being treated by one set of biological deodorization towers, they are respectively discharged through one 15m high exhaust pipe (DA001~DA005). The organized emissions of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide after the above processes meet the "Odor Pollutant Emission Standards"
