Project Overview: The project is located in Team 5, Taxia Office, Yangqiao Town, Boluo County. It is a rural revitalization industry assistance project of "East West Cooperation" between Boluo County and Xingren City, Guizhou Province, and has been included in the key project of rural revitalization in Boluo County. The total investment is 67 million yuan. The land area is 89044.99 square meters, with a total construction area of 17092.66 square meters. A new live cattle temporary breeding (distribution) center and supporting facilities will be built. Including 8 cowsheds, 2 isolated cowsheds, and 1 feed storage area, the first phase of the project is mainly engaged in temporary storage and trading of beef cattle. After completion, it can store about 800 beef cattle and temporarily raise 9600 beef cattle per year, which means about 9600 live cattle can be traded annually. Main environmental impacts and measures to prevent or mitigate adverse environmental impacts: 1. During the temporary breeding process of beef cattle in wastewater projects, the use of grass and bedding breeding technology results in urine evaporation loss or absorption by cow bedding materials. The production wastewater is disinfection tank wastewater, and cow urine and cow manure are absorbed by bedding without producing wastewater. Dry cleaning is used for cleaning, and water flushing is not used. The amount of sewage generated is approximately 1233m3/a (3.4m3/d). Recently, after meeting the stricter values of the "Pollutant Discharge Standards for Livestock and Poultry Breeding Industry" and the "Irrigation Water Quality Standards for Farmland" (GB5084-2021), it was used for irrigation of 75 acres of fruit forests in the surrounding area. Pollution prevention and control measures: (1) Adopt drip irrigation for irrigation; (2) According to calculations, the water demand of forest land in the field is greater than the amount of wastewater generated, and the land carrying capacity is much greater than the total amount of nutrients in irrigation water. (3) Build one 210m3 storage tank that can store irrigation water for 60 days. (4) Set up a plant buffer zone between the river and the project wall. In the long term, the wastewater will be treated at the comprehensive sewage treatment plant in Yangqiao Town, Boluo County. The comprehensive sewage treatment plant in Yangqiao Town, Boluo County is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2026. The tail water of the sewage treatment plant is discharged into Huangguoli, flows into Shiba River, and then enters Gongzhuang River. 2. The exhaust gas mainly comes from the odor of cattle sheds and sewage treatment plants. After comprehensive measures such as optimizing feed, adding EM bacteria to feed, using dry manure cleaning technology, spraying biological deodorizers, strengthening hygiene management, controlling feeding density, and enhancing site greening, the foul odor gas in the duck house became unorganized
