Project Name: Huizhou Daya Bay District Government Pier Project Construction Unit: Transportation and Marine Economy Bureau of Huizhou Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee Construction Location: West of Tsuen Wan Operation Area, Tsuen Wan Port Area, Huizhou Port, Southeast of Red Pai Area Environmental Impact Assessment Agency: Guangzhou Ruihua Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Project Overview: In order to ensure the smooth implementation of administrative law enforcement work such as waterway traffic safety, marine and fishery management, and channel maintenance, the Transportation and Marine Economy Bureau of Huizhou Daya Bay Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee plans to construct the Huizhou Daya Bay District Government Pier Project in the west sea area of Tsuen Wan Operation Area, Tsuen Wan Port Area, Huizhou Port, with 11 government ship berths planned to be built, including 6 300 ton government ship berths (3 300 ton berths in the outer harbor pool and 1 3000 ton berth). A first-class government ship and 5 small government ship berths. The total length of the berths is 411.5m, and the government ship dock is also considering the construction of supporting facilities such as parking lots and business buildings. The construction period of the project mainly includes the construction of dock pile foundations, dredging of harbor basins, etc. The total dredging volume is about 62000 m3, and the dredging soil is mainly silt. The construction period is about 12 months. The operation period mainly involves the loading and unloading of materials during supply, with the main cargo being daily necessities or emergency supplies, all of which are miscellaneous items. Main environmental impacts and countermeasures and measures to prevent or mitigate adverse environmental impacts: I. Environmental impact analysis and assessment (1) Seawater quality Environmental impact Water pollution during construction mainly includes suspended sediment generated during construction drilling, dredging and other construction processes, domestic sewage of construction personnel, oily sewage of construction ships, land construction wastewater, etc. By adopting reasonable construction plans, scheduling construction progress and defining construction scope, and controlling the speed of dredging and excavation in the harbor, the generation of suspended sediment can be reduced. Oily sewage and domestic sewage produced by construction ships during the construction period shall be collected and handed over to units with treatment capacity for unified reception and treatment. The domestic sewage of land construction workers is collected in septic tanks and regularly transported to municipal water purification plants for treatment. Construction machinery equipment, vehicle washing wastewater, and other construction wastewater are planned to be pre treated in sedimentation tanks and reused for watering and dust suppression, and will not be discharged externally.
