Among them, the main line starts from Langzhou Village, Changping Town, Dongguan City, connects with the Dongguan section of the Dongguan Huizhou Expressway (formerly the Huichang section of the Hugang Expressway), flows westward to Changping Town, Dalang Town, Songshan Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park, Dalingshan, Dalingshan Forest Farm, Humen Town, and finally reaches the Wudianmei Interchange, intersecting with the Guangzhou Shenzhen Expressway and connecting with the planned extension of the Changhu Expressway, with a length of about 40.42 kilometers. The first phase of the Humen Port branch line starts from Huaide Village, Humen Town, Dongguan City, connects to the main line of the Changhu Expressway (with a Huadengzhan interchange), passes through Chencun and Chigang communities, and finally ends at Xinlian Community, Humen Town, Dongguan City. It connects with the under construction Shiziyang Passage project and intersects with the Guangzhou Shenzhen Expressway at a cross (with a Xinlian interchange).
